These are items that don't really fit in any other category. The ball in a cage is something that I saw on the internet and decided to have a go at myself. I used a short length of 2"x2" that I had leftover from some DIY I was doing! It would probably be a bit better looking in something other than white pine! I carved it using a knife and finished it with some sandpaper and oil (Sunflower in this case.)

The trawling hook is something that I was taught to make on a bushcraft course I attended. It would traditional have been used for fishing but I think makes a rather interesting curio. The hook is made from Sweet Chestnut and the binding is Spruce root.
