Wood

Almost all of the woodwork that I do uses "green" wood. Green wood is timber that is worked in an unseasoned state. It is normally freshly felled and has a high moisture content. This means that the wood can be worked using solely hand tools and manually operated devices. No noise, no dust, no need for power (other than your own!)

The greatest enjoyment I get from green woodworking is creating something practical and hopefully beautiful from what would be regarded by most people as firewood.
